Hacienda Tarabacoa, located in the Municipal District Mejias in the state of Sucre covers 19 hectares, bounded in the North by the Gulf of Cariaco for 145 linear metres and to the south by the river Tarabacoa along a border 278 meters long.

To the east the same river forms the border for a distance of 434 meters and the western border, 1350 meters long, adjoins a private farm.

In the summer, the river is a fairly small stream, but in the rainy season it fills and would be suitable for the raising of shrimp.

The farm is divided in two by a state highway, 30 metres long. This road runs along the whole coast of Sucre state and running parallel there is a high-tension electricity cable. Fresh water pipes cross the farm from South to North.
